(pictured above are the kids of skaters at dinner tonight - most of them will perform in the show alongside their parents!)T-minus 20 hrs until showtime! Tons of stuff happened today and I have lots to update you on...
First things first, Kurt Browning originally planned to host Kristi's show tonight, but due to his father's illness, he had to miss the show. A great article was written about it, so be sure to read it here. Kurt will be missed! Steven Cousins decided to step in last minute and is rehearsing with Kristi Yamaguchi as we speak at the U.S. Airways Center (it's 11 p.m.!)
The cast rehearsed ALL day today so as to not miss a single beat tomorrow night. Even the kids worked their tails off (but not all their energy!) Kristi Yamaguchi invited everyone and their families out for a fun family evening at the Old Spaghetti Factory and boy did it get crazy! The adults chatted each other up while the young, aspiring skaters ran circles around the room.
The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato also arrived tonight and plan to be up and at 'em with the sun tomorrow morning.
Let's see... what else. The skaters autographed skates and programs in between rehearsals, somehow we all fit lunch in (gorging ourselves on Musselman's Applesauce - thanks to Musselman's for sponsoring the show and providing all the free 'sauce). All I can remember were kids everywhere... running around, skating around, giggling, crying, cracking jokes and hanging out. Many of them did interviews alongside their parents and they were ALL super excited about the show tomorrow.
Okay - the morning starts early so I'm off to bed! Don't want to miss or waste a moment of tomorrow so I can tell you all about it!
