Sequins, Sit Spins and Signature Moves...Tis the Season to Skate!

The build-up to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler British Columbia is already electrifying. You know how they have that tiny sign on gas pumps that tell you not to talk on your cell phone while pumping gas and refrain from opening and closing car doors due to static-buildup, which could cause a deadly explosion...Well, it's like that, but with Canadian flare. (By the way, those gas pump signs should probably be a bit bigger considering the message is about preventing an explosion...I care more about that than a buy 3 slurpees get the next 1 at half price deal.) All this excitement already and the games are still 497 days away. Predictions are being made that the event will sell out despite the economy being in the slumps and sparks are flying over the removal of women's ski jumping and the possible addition of sled-dog racing. Not to worry, figure skating is in no danger of being removed from the 2010 Olympics.

Figure skating of course, is a huge part of the games and many cast members for the Disson Skating shows are contenders for the 2010 Olympics including 2x US champion Evan Lysacek and 2006 Olympic Silver medalist Sasha Cohen. These amazing shows may be the closest you can get to seeing Olympic level athletes in action... With the additional bonus of fantastic live music guests. Check out the full list of cast members and show dates at: (http://www.dissonskating.com/)
